Meat Your Match Challenge - FAQ

When does the challenge start, and when does it end?

The challenge will start on Feb 5th 06:00 AM PST and will end on Feb 19 06:00 AM PST (14 days).

How do I know if I can participate in the challenge?

ELIGIBILITY

The campaign is available for PC only (no other gaming platforms are eligible).

Participation in the challenge is restricted to the US.

You have to be 18+ to participate.

You must have the Buff application installed, up to date, and running during your game sessions to accumulate points. Make sure that Overwolf’s overlay is enabled for your game(s).

Buff reserves the right to exclude and disqualify any participants, remove points, and address suspected fraudulent behavior, including but not limited to non-human actions, playing against bots, multiple account creation, and other forms of manipulation to gain points. Hourly and daily point caps are in place to prevent account sharing and mitigate other fraudulent activities. Violation of these terms may result in disqualification from winning the grand prize and contest participation in general.

Each participant is eligible to win both the small and/or grand prize once per game at the end of the challenge. Attempts to circumvent this rule, such as creating multiple accounts, may lead to disqualification.

Please note that violating these terms may result in a permanent ban of your Buff account, with no possibility of recovery.

How to participate in the challenge: 

  1. Download Buff and sign in
  2. Click on the Slim Jim’s Meat Your Match Challenge icon on the Buff menu left bar 
  3. Follow the onboarding process 
  4. Launch Fortnite / League of Legends and Play

How do I win?

You can win rewards by completing all challenges in League of Legends and Fortnite. Here’s how the rewards will be distributed:

  • First 400 finishers in each game will win 500 Buff Points!
  • All players who complete the challenges will enter a 5-winner raffle per game for the chance to win:
    • $25 Riot Access Codes (League of Legends).
    • 2800 V-Bucks (Fortnite).

Challenges to Complete:

League of Legends:

  • Win 30 matches
  • Earn 700k gold
  • Destroy 50 enemy turrets with your team
  • Play for 1000 minutes in total

Fortnite:

  • Become the top 10 player 30 times
  • Eliminate 300 enemies
  • End 40 matches surviving more than 15 minutes
  • Play for 1000 minutes in total

  • Normal Blind

Why am I seeing notifications?

During the game, notifications will appear indicating that you are participating in  The Meat Your Match Challenge

The notifications will be shown for a few seconds and then disappear.

 

* Please note! If you turn off the in-game notifications, it will cause an automatic withdrawal of your challenge participation!

How can I claim the rewards that I've won?

MY REWARDS

The Rewards Will Be Given As Follows:
You can win rewards by completing all challenges in League of Legends and Fortnite. Here’s how the rewards will be distributed:

  • First 400 finishers in each game will win 500 Buff Points!
  • All players who complete the challenges will enter a 5-winner raffle per game for the chance to win:
    • $25 Riot Access Codes (League of Legends).

In the Winner List tab, you can check if you’ve won any rewards from the challenge. The grand prize winners will be contacted directly via email.

Winners are required to respond to verification emails within one week of the initial notification. Failure to respond will result in two follow-up emails sent to the winner’s provided email address. If no response is received within this timeframe, the prize will be automatically awarded to the next eligible participant in line, and so forth, until a responsive winner is confirmed. Participants are responsible for regularly checking their email, including spam folders, for prize verification communication.

How do I know if I won the grand prize?

If you’re eligible for the raffle, you can join it through the Winners List tab. If you win, our team will manually review your match history to ensure compliance with the rules. Once verified, we’ll contact you with further details about the redemption process. If any fraudulent activity is detected, the prize will be awarded to the next eligible participant.

HOW DO I EXIT THE CHALLENGE?

If you choose to cancel your participation in the challenge, you can do it on Buff’s settings tab.
