What is the Meat Your Match Challenge?

The Meat Your Match Challenge is a 2-week contest in Fortnite and League of Legends for players in the US, offering the chance to compete for epic prizes!

  • Complete 4 challenges in each game to qualify.
  • The first 400 gamers in each game to finish all challenges will win 500 Buff Points!
  • All participants who complete the challenges will enter a 5-winner raffle per game for a chance to win $25 Riot Codes (League of Legends) or 2800 V-Bucks (Fortnite).

The challenge will start on Feb 5th 06:00 AM PST and will end on Feb 19 06:00 AM PST.

The Rewards Will Be Given As Follows:

You can win rewards by completing all challenges in League of Legends and Fortnite. Here’s how the rewards will be distributed:

  • First 400 finishers in each game will win 500 Buff Points!
  • All players who complete the challenges will enter a 5-winner raffle per game for the chance to win:
    • $25 Riot Access Codes (League of Legends).
    • 2800 V-Bucks (Fortnite).

Challenges to Complete:

League of Legends:

  • Win 30 matches
  • Earn 700k gold
  • Destroy 50 enemy turrets with your team
  • Play for 1000 minutes in total

Fortnite:

  • Become the top 10 player 30 times
  • Eliminate 300 enemies
  • End 40 matches surviving more than 15 minutes
  • Play for 1000 minutes in total


During the game, notifications will appear indicating that you are participating in  The Meat Your Match Challenge:

League of Legends:

  • Match Start
  • Assists
  • Eliminations
  • Tower Destroyed
  • Match Lost
  • Match Won

Fortnite:

  • Match Start
  • Knockouts
  • Eliminations
  • Match Lost
  • Match Won

The notifications will be shown for a few seconds and then disappear.

* Please note! If you turn off the in-game notifications, it will cause an automatic withdrawal of your challenge participation!

How to participate in the challenge:

  1. Download Buff and sign in
  2. Click on the Slim Jim’s Meat Your Match Challenge icon on the Buff menu left bar 
  3. Follow the onboarding process 
  4. Launch Fortnite / League of Legends and Play

Main Page:

In the Main Page tab, you can track your progress in the Slim Jim Meat Your Match Challenge and view the status of your completed challenges. If you’re among the first 400 finishers in each game, you can claim your reward by clicking the ‘Claim’ button.

Winners List:

In the Winner List tab, you can check if you’ve won any rewards from the challenge. The grand prize winners will be contacted directly via email.

  • Complete all 4 challenges in either League of Legends or Fortnite to be among the first 400 users in each game and win 500 Buff Points!
  • All participants who complete the challenges will enter a 5-winner raffle per game for a chance to win $25 Riot Access Codes (League of Legends) and 2800 V-Bucks (Fortnite).

Winners are required to respond to verification emails within one week of the initial notification. Failure to respond will result in two follow-up emails sent to the winner’s provided email address. If no response is received within this timeframe, the prize will be automatically awarded to the next eligible participant in line, and so forth, until a responsive winner is confirmed. Participants are responsible for regularly checking their email, including spam folders, for prize verification communication.
