The Intel Gamer Days Challenge - FAQ
When does the challenge start, and when does it end?
The challenge will start on 26 Aug and will end on 4 Sep (10 days)

How do I know if I can participate in the challenge?
The campaign is available for PC only (no other gaming platforms are eligible).

Participation in the challenge is restricted to UK
You have to be 18+ to participate.
You must have the Buff application installed, up to date, and running during your game sessions to accumulate points. Make sure that Overwolf’s overlay is enabled for your game(s).
Buff reserves the right to exclude and disqualify any participants, remove points, and address suspected fraudulent behavior, including but not limited to non-human actions, playing against bots, multiple account creation, and other forms of manipulation to gain points. Hourly and daily point caps are in place to prevent account sharing and mitigate other fraudulent activities. Violation of these terms may result in disqualification from winning the grand prize and contest participation in general.
Each participant is eligible to win the small prize once and 1 winner will win the grand prize at the end of the tournament. Attempts to circumvent this rule, such as creating multiple accounts, may lead to disqualification.
Please note that violating these terms may result in a permanent ban of your Buff account, with no possibility of recovery.
How do I join the challenge?
Supported game – Valorant.

How to participate in the challenge:
1. Download Buff and sign in
2. Click on The Intel Gamer Days Challenge icon on the Buff menu left bar.
3. Follow the onboarding process
4. Launch Valorant and Play.
How do I win?
The rewards will be given as follows:
- The top 1 player at the end of the tournament wins a MSI Sword 16 HX Gaming Laptop.
- The top 100 players on the leaderboard win $10 Riot Access Codes gift cards.
The competition will be based on a points system, in which different actions will grant users varying amounts of points, as follows:
Valorant:
- Play a game – 1 point
- Win – 10 points
- Kill – 3 points
- Assist – 2 points
- Headshot – 4 points
Game Modes:
- Unrated
- Competitive
- Swiftplay
- Spike Rush
- Escalation
- Premier
During the game, notifications will appear indicating that you are participating in The Intel Gamer Days Challenge.
Once you have completed a match, you will see a summary screen displaying the total amount of points that will be added to your score on the leaderboard.
Participants can also share a highlight video on their social media to earn an additional 100 points – this can be done once every 24 hours. Simply share the highlight generated by Buff and the points will be automatically added to your score.

Why am I seeing notifications?
Notifications will appear during the game, indicating your participation in the challenge and displaying the points you’ve earned based on the contest scoring system.

The notifications will be shown for a few seconds and then disappear.
* Please note! If you turn off the in-game notifications, it will cause an automatic withdrawal of your challenge participation!
How can I claim the rewards that I've won?
In the ‘Leaderboard’ tab in our app you will be able to see where you are placed in the challenge according to your region.
The rewards will be given as follows:
- The top 1 player at the end of the tournament wins a MSI Sword 16 HX Gaming Laptop.
- The top 100 players on the leaderboard win $10 Riot Access Codes gift cards. cards.
In the ‘My Rewards’ page, you will see the rewards you have received in the challenge. Gift Cards will be claimed by pressing the ‘Claim’ button, and the grand prize winner will be contacted by us via email.

Winners are required to respond to verification emails within one week of the initial notification. Failure to respond will result in two follow-up emails sent to the winner’s provided email address. If no response is received within this timeframe, the prize will be automatically awarded to the next eligible participant in line, and so forth, until a responsive winner is confirmed. Participants are responsible for regularly checking their email, including spam folders, for prize verification communication.
How do I know if I won the grand prize?
If you are ranked top 1 on the regional Leaderboard – our team will manually review all match history to ensure nothing illegal has taken place. We will contact you with further details about the redemption process. In case fraud is detected – the next person on the leaderboard will get the prize.
HOW DO I EXIT THE CHALLENGE?
If you choose to cancel your participation in the challenge, you can do it on Buff’s settings tab.
