A. General Information

Promotion Description a. The following “The Valorant Clash” Promotion Official Rules (“Official Rules”) apply to the “The Valorant Clash” (“Promotion”). b. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Platform, BUFF Technologies LTD. (“we”, “us” or “BUFF”) as described in the general Terms of Use, which shall be final and binding in all respects (without prejudice to the Entrant’s legal rights and remedies available to them under applicable law, including their right to commence legal proceedings). c. The Valorant Clash was created under Riot Games’ Legal policy using assets owned by Riot Games. Riot Games does not endorse or sponsor this project.
d. This competition is not affiliated with or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. or its Esports.

1. Promotion Period a.The challenge starts on July 3rd, 2024 8:00 EDT, and ends on July 24th, 2024 23:59.

• Week 1: July 3rd 8:00 EDT – July 9th 23:59  EDT
• Week 2: July 10th 00:00 EDT – July 16th 23:59  EDT
• Week 3: July 17th 00:00 EDT – July 24th 23:59  EDT

2. Promotion Type a. Join The Valorant Clash and put your skills to the ultimate test. Compete, climb the leaderboard, and win incredible prizes! b. The top player at the end of the tournament wins a free flight and ticket to TwitchCon USA. c. 40 weekly winners will receive $10 Riot Access Codes! (The “Prize”). d. Participation and entrance to the Promotion is subject to fulfillment of all Eligibility and Entry Requirements and terms outlined in these Promotion Official Rules herein. e. Entering the Promotion is available through the following Landing Page https://www.buff.game/valorant-clash/ (“Landing Page”), or through Buff.game desktop platform (“Buff App”). f. The competition will be based on a points system, in which different actions will grant users varying amounts of points. g. Buff reserves the right to adjust the points system and tournament rules at any time at its sole discretion.

 

B. Game Modes and Points System

3. Notifications a. During the game, notifications will appear indicating that you are participating in The Valorant Clash event. b. Once you have completed a match, you will see a summary screen displaying the total amount of points that will be added to your score on the leaderboard.

 

C. Administration and Eligibility

1. Administrator a. The Promotion is administered, conducted, executed, supervised, and monitored on behalf of the BUFF platform (“Administrator”), including the administration and all technical and consumer support related to the operation of the Landing Page.
2. Entrant Eligibility a. The Promotion is open only to legal residents of Australia and New Zealand and in accordance with the general terms of use of the platform (“Entrant” and “Eligible Entrant”). b. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. c. Participation constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. d. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
3. How to Enter (“Entry Requirements”) a. To enter the Promotion, a user must download Buff App and create an account (“Game Account”). b. Enter the specific promotion tab within the platform and confirm the Promotion T&C. c. Participants must play the Valorant game. d. Each participant is eligible to win the micro prize once per week and the grand prize a maximum of 1 time. e. Attempts to circumvent this rule, such as creating multiple accounts, may lead to disqualification. f. Violating these terms may result in a permanent ban of your Buff account, with no possibility of recovery.  g. All participants confirm they are entering the Promotion of their own free will.

 

D. Leaderboard and Prizes

1. Leaderboard Aggregation a. At the end of the promotional period, the platform will check the leaderboard and aggregate the results of all leaderboards during the promotional period. b. The users leading this promotion are entitled to the prizes in accordance with the T&C and as described in the landing page https://www.buff.game/valorant-clash/ (“Entitled Winner”) subject to the requirements set forth in section 7 below.

Prizes a. Weekly Prizes: Every week, the top 40 players (Ranks #1-40) on the Weekly Leaderboard will win $10 Riot Access Codes. b. Grand Prize: At the end of the tournament, the top player on the All-Time Leaderboard will win the grand prize: a flight for two and entrance tickets to TwitchCon San Diego. c. Prizes will be provided either in a digital form in case of Gift cards, such as a digital code (“Digital Code”) that will be required to be inserted in the relevant account to redeem the Prize. d. Alternatively, (“Physical Prize”) will be provided by Buff. e. Entitled winners must provide a valid Passport within 1 week after receiving the Email declaring their winning. f. Buff reserves the right to convert rewards to their equivalent value in Buff points at its own discretion. g. The total prize pool value must not exceed $10,000 or $12,000 in non-cash prizes for VALORANT.

2. Prize Description and Limitations a. The prize awarded by Buff consists solely of one (1) winner, and two (2) round-trip coach airfare tickets from the winner’s nearest major airport to the location of TwitchCon and two (2) general admission tickets to TwitchCon, which will take place from Friday, September 20, 2024, to Sunday, September 22, 2024. b. Exclusions: The prize does not include, and the platform is not responsible for: i. Any insurance, including but not limited to travel, health, or personal insurance. ii. Transportation to and from the airport. iii. Accommodation, meals, or any other expenses incurred during the trip. iv. Any upgrades from coach class airfare. v. Any additional activities or events beyond the general admission to TwitchCon. vi. Specific airline choices or specific flight times are not guaranteed.
3. Eligibility Requirements for Prizes a. The winner must: i. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age by the date of entry. ii. Possess a valid passport with at least six (6) months of validity remaining from the date of return. iii. Comply with any and all travel requirements, including but not limited to obtaining necessary visas and health documentation.
4. Responsibility and Liability for Prizes a. Buff will not be responsible or liable for: i. Any delay, cancellation, or changes to the flight schedule. ii. Any delay or cancellation of TwitchCon. iii. Any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising out of the winner’s participation in the prize. iv. Any additional costs incurred by the winner for travel, accommodation, or other expenses. v. Any inability of the winner to attend TwitchCon due to invalid or expired travel documentation, or failure to meet any of the travel requirements.
5. Event Dates and Changes a. TwitchCon is scheduled to take place from Friday, September 20, 2024, to Sunday, September 22, 2024. The Sponsor is not responsible for any changes to the event dates or the event’s cancellation.
6. Non-Transferability and Substitution a. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-redeemable for cash or any other form of compensation. b. No substitutions are allowed, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. c. Buff reserves the right to adjust prizes and tournament rules at its own discretion.
7. Additional Terms a. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to comply with these terms and conditions and any additional terms and conditions required by Buff.

 

E. General Conditions

1. Intellectual Property a. By participating in the Promotion, every Entrant hereby agrees to The platform’s general terms regarding intellectual property as specified in the Terms of Use. b. All Intellectual Property included in the Prize and the Promotion (including printed characters, graphics, storylines) are owned by The platform. c. You further acknowledge and agree that you shall have no ownership or other property interest and that all rights in the Services and any derivatives are owned by The platform.
2. Suspension or Termination a. The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Promotion if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Promotion is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions, or other causes beyond The platform’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play, and/or feasibility of the Promotion as contemplated herein.
3. Force Majeure a. In the event The platform is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Promotion as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within The platform’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), then The platform shall have the right to suspend or terminate the Promotion.
4. Severability a. As permitted by applicable laws, the invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
5. Limitation of Liability a. By entering the Promotion winners and Entrants agree to release and hold harmless The platform and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: i. Such Entrant’s participation in the Promotion and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof. ii. Technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software. iii. The unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service. iv. Unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion. v. Electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries. vi. Failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any act of God, fire, natural disaster, accident, or act of government, or any other cause beyond Buff’s sole control. vii. Prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Privacy Policy and Terms of Use a. By entering the Promotion and downloading BUFF, each Entrant acknowledges that they have access to Buff Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and that any of the Entrant’s personal information shall be subject to Buff’s privacy policy.

 

F. Applicable Laws

a. The Rules and any disputes or differences arising in connection to them shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Israel. b. The Sponsor, Administrator, and all Entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in order to resolve any disputes. c. If a dispute as to the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to The platform’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.
