Camille Ferros, the Steel Shadow who is also known as the Gray Lady originates from Piltover where she also currently resides. She is among the 20 champions who does not possess a single power ability ratio on any specific ability and her weapons include Hextech Blade Legs, Hookshot, and Hextech Heart in League of Legend.

The Steel Shadow belongs to the human specie and has the following specs:

  • Legacy: Tank and Fighter
  • Range Type: Melee
  • Class: Diver
  • Adaptive Type: Physical
  • Resource: Mana
  • Position: Top and Middle

If Camille looks quite familiar, it is because her design is very similar to that of Lin Beifong from the Legend of Korra. More than appearance, the two characters resemble each other’s style in fighting and they also have the same profession.

For her adaptive defenses, the Steel Shadow or the Gray Lady’s shield strength rises according to her maximum HP. She gains a shield based on her enemy’s primary damage when making some basic attacks.

Camille, the Steel Shadow’s character is very precise and highly adaptable which is why she heavily resents sloppy techniques. This character is weaponized and is designed to operate beyond the rules of the law.

The Steel Shadow is an elite and elegant agent who is responsible for making sure that the Zannite underbelly and the Piltover machine always run smoothly. She is the Principal Intelligencer of the Ferros Clan.

When you play against this character, be sure to always be smart and on guard as her mind is very, very sharp and on point.

CAMILLE Skills and abilities

Camille’s move depends on two factors which are her magic resistance as well as the armor she has at the present. Her next move of attack against other champion opponents is improved and shields her for about 20% of her max health for a 2 second duration either from magic damage or physical damage.

Precision Protocol: Within 4 seconds of the Steel Shadow’s next basic move, her attacks become uncontrollable which then gives her some 50 bonus range and other added bonuses such as a one second bonus movement speed as well as a bonus physical damage.

Tactical Sweep: In a 1.1 second time delay, Camille is able to sweep her leg to create physical damage to her opponents in a targeted direction. While this is happening, she is not able to declare her basic attacks as she is ghosted.

Hook shot: In a target direction, the Steel Shadow fires a grapple wherein if the latter goes in collision with terrain, this character dashes forward then perches onto the terrain. While perched for 0.75 seconds, Camille gets to have the power to cast Wall Drive.

Wall Drive: As Camille races through in the target direction, she causes physical damage to her opponents that are close to the area of landing. Here, the range from other enemy champions that are within the range of 1,400 is doubled and she is able to grant a 4 second ghosting to all the non- champions that she passed through.

HexTech Ultimatum: With this ability, the Steel Shadow has the power to disrupt the ongoing channels of her champion opponents for about 0.6 seconds and she is able to leap with displacement immunity. When Camille uses this ability, she cannot be targeted by her enemies.

As seen in Camille’s abilities, she is a character of precision, so players who use this character must also possess the same trait in order to effectively play the Steel Shadow’s moves and attacks.

Players of this character must know how to properly use her skills which need to be done in a paced manner and must be placed carefully in order to achieve the maximum effect.

The Steel Shadow is a very versatile fighter who is really good at running after her single targets as well as slaying them. When this character is properly played, you will be able to grapple your way out as well as dice your target, and slice into the backline of your opponent.

Camille’s strengths include the ability to hook shot, apply pressure and smoothly sling away as her opponents try to stop her. She is also highly mobile and very precise and is amazing at split- pushing. Her other abilities such as Hex tech Ultimatum and Tactical Sweep enables her to prepare her kills for her affiliates who are planning to make some explosions.

Among her weaknesses are her shield is more effective in one- on- one combats and not so much in team fights as it is based on her enemy’s damage type, and also for her hook shot to be effective, it needs to be used at the right timing and from an angle that is least expected.

Camille should best be used by a more experienced player. You can also check out GNAR!
