BUFF’S SUMMER TOURNAMENT:

ELIGIBILITY
The campaign is available for PC only (no other gaming platforms are eligible).
Check out Buff’s general Terms and Conditions, including the “CHALLENGES” section, and make sure that you meet all the requirements.
Participation in the challenge is restricted to the following regions: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Germany.
The challenge is for ages 16+. If you are under 16, you must receive parental approval to participate.
You must have Buff and Overwolf installed, up to date, and running during your game sessions in order to accumulate points. Make sure that Overwolf’s overlay is enabled for your game(s)
PRIZES
The rewards will be given in each leaderboard game as follows:
- 200 Buff Points will be awarded to the top 250 players at the end of the tournament.
- The top 25 players at the end of the tournament will win up to $100 Riot Access Gift Card, as follows:
- Rank 1 – $100 Riot Access Card
- Rank 2-3 – $50 Riot Access Card
- Rank 4-10 – $20 Riot Access Card
- Rank 11-25 – $10 Riot Access Card
The competition will work based on a points system, in which different actions will grant users varying amounts of points, as follows:
League of Legends:
- Play a game – 1 point
- Win – 10 points
- Kill – 2 points
- Double Kill – 4 points
- Assist – 1 point
- Inhibitor – 5 points
- Turret – 3 Points
Valorant:
- Play a game – 1 point
- Win – 10 points
- Kill – 3 points
- Assist – 2 points
- Headshot – 4 points
NOTIFICATIONS
Why am I seeing notifications in-game?
Notifications will pop up when you join the game.
A notification for example:
The “GLHF” notification, which will inform you that you’ve joined the tournament:
The notifications will be shown for two seconds and then disappear.
* Please note! If you turn off the in-game notifications, it will cause an automatic withdrawal of
your challenge participation!
MY REWARDS
In the ‘Leaderboards’ tab in our app you will be able to see where you are placed in the challenge.
The rewards will be given in each leaderboard as follows:
- 200 Buff Points will be awarded to the top 250 players at the end of the tournament.
- The top 25 players at the end of the tournament will win up to $100 Riot Access Gift Card, as follows:
- Rank 1 – $100 Riot Access Card
- Rank 2-3 – $50 Riot Access Card
- Rank 4-10 – $20 Riot Access Card
- Rank 11-25 – $10 Riot Access Card
In the ‘My Rewards’ page, you will see the rewards you have received in the challenge. Buff Points will be claimed by pressing the ‘Claim’ button, and the grand prize winners will be contacted by us via email.
How do I know if I won the grand prize?
A Riot Access Gift Card will be given to the players who place in the top 25 in each leaderboard at the end of the challenge. If you outmatch all your opponents with your talents, you will be notified directly after the challenge ends and will receive an email with further instructions regarding the redemption process.
HOW DO I EXIT THE CHALLENGE?
If you choose to cancel your participation in the challenge, you can do it on Buff’s settings tab.
