Can I buy Overwatch loot box keys using Buff points?

So, a while ago I managed to get my hands on a golden loot box while playing Overwatch. But, I haven't opened it because I heard from a friend you need a key to open it. Help? I'm not sure where I am going to find one without having to buy one. I'm hoping I can buy one from the Buff marketplace using the points I've gained?

Hey, so you're in luck coz you actually don't need keys to open loot boxes in Overwatch, so you can go ahead and open that golden box of yours if you want! I hope its something nice because all event loot boxes have just been discontinued as of August 2022.
