Is it possible to redeem Overwatch loot boxes using Buff points?

I really want some loot boxes from Overwatch guys. I've only just started playing and I've read that loot boxes are usually given at the beginning of an event, and I've just missed the latest one from August. Will I still be able to buy an event loot box from the Buff marketplace?

Hey man, unfortunately you arrived after the end of the loot box ride. Blizzard just announced that they'll stop selling loot boxes altogether at the end of the last event, the one you just missed in August 2022. At least you'll still be getting standard loot boxes from your quick matches!
