Rocket League has arguably the most cosmetics than any other competitive game. One of the most sought-after types of cosmetics in the game is car bodies. There are tons of different bodies from the classic octane body to official Formula1 cars and Mustangs.

So, how do you get a hold of your new desired car body for free?

Getting a New Rocket League Car Body

The obvious way of getting a new car is waiting for the desired car to show up in the shop, then purchasing it with credits. Alternatively, you can spend the same amount of credits on a car blueprint, and then unlock imported cars.

However, if you don't want to spend any hard-earned money on this free-to-play rocket-powered soccer game, there are still chances for you to get your hands on some new rides too.

  • You can earn Rocket League drops by completing free weekly in-game challenges, and you might get a nice new car body for free.
  • You can also combine 5 items of the same rarity to get one item of the next tier, which might also result in a brand-new ride to add to your garage.

Getting new car bodies in Rocket League requires a bit of luck and a lot of effort put into gathering a bunch of drops. If you're looking for a faster way to get new rides, purchasing the Rocket Pass for 1000 credits will get you all your credits back by the time you hit level 120 on the pass, and will reward you with loads more drops.
