Can I get Buff points if I play Rocket League's rare drop challenges?

Hello everyone. I've been playing Rocket League for days, but I've barely gotten any Buff points. I've tried completing weekly challenges, but to no avail. Does Buff require them to be rare drop challenges or tournaments?

You might be confusing the Rocket League in-game challenges with the Buff challenges. The challenges that give you Buff Points are the ones that are found inside the Buff App in that OverWolf UI thing. remember to grab your dailies from the app too!
