Will I get banned on R6 Seige for using Overwolf's app?

I'm playing a lot of r6 siege with friends and one guy told me about Buff, but now that I looked into it, you need Overwolf as well? Thought it was some cheat app, so just want to make sure, will I get baned on siege if I use Overwolf's app?

No, I've been using Overwolf for r6 siege for years before I discovered Buff. All Overwolf does is display ranked stats and overall KD's of all the players who are in your current match, so you have an idea of who you're up against. All of the information displayed is available publicly through tracking websites, so it just shows the stats to you in a nice summary based on your match.
