Can players connect to sub-tick servers in CS2 automatically?

I was playing CS:GO with a friend last night, and he asked me if I knew anything about CS2 servers, like if we'd have to choose the sub-tick servers or if we'd get connected automatically. I know there are some changes to how things will work, but I don't know anything about servers, so I thought I'd ask here. Will we have the option to connect to such servers automatically?
