Are there any events or promotions that offer bonus Valorant points?

In short, I am still a minor, so I can only get 1-2 gift cards per year, on my Birthday and maybe Christmas. Can I earn VPs by taking part in gaming events? Where could I find info about those events? But also, are there any promotions that could offer bonus points for the price? I think my parents would be more likely to buy me more points if I can convince them it's a good deal. Thanks all.

I've never seen an 'event' that you can take part in outside of the occasional extra Buff points you get when Buff does a themed week, like a "Valorant double Buffs week" or something... There are subscriptions you can get that get you way more Buffs, but paying for more points defeats the "free" aspect of Buff.
