Can I earn Buff & Valorant points if I complete an agent contract?

I've been playing the daily & weekly challenges to up my XP and unlock free agents. So far, I'm still in the first chapter, tier 3. I'm almost on tier 4 and can't wait to get to the end of Chapter 2, so I can unlock some pretty cool cosmetics too! What I am wondering, however, is whether I'll be getting points whenever I complete an agent contract. It'd be awesome if I do 'cause it means I can save for weapon & agent character skins.

Unless your Buff challenges require you to complete an agent contract (which is very unlikely,) chances are you wont get any extra buff points for completing an agent contract. You can totally work toward the the end of chapter 2 while doing your Buff challenges though.
