Do I have to upgrade memory for competitive framerates when playing LoL?

I just got given an old PC from a friend. The PC has 4GB of RAM and a decent CPU, I've really been interested in the competitive scene in League of Legends, and I was wondering if I would need more RAM to get competitive framerates.

Your friend is very generous! 4gb isn't a lot of RAM in 2022, but you should be all good with those specs if you're just trying to play some LoL with Buff running. Good luck in your ranked games, and i hope you earn Buff points quickly!
