How do I join a professional CS:GO esports team?

Hey all. I've been playing and streaming CS:GO for almost a year now, and my rank is somewhere between DMG and LEM. So, I was wondering how to go about joining a professional esports team. Do I look for teams and apply, or do I continue progressing and wait for them to find me?

Now- I'm not part of an eSports team, but my best guess is that you'd build a "portfolio" with montages of your skill, send it to a pro team, and wait and see if they pull you in for trials or something. Visit their website and ask.
