Can I share my Fortnite code with friends or family?

Hey guys. I recently won some Fortnite gift cards in a private tournament that one of my friends organized, so I was wondering if it's against the game rules to share a V-Bucks code with my brother who also plays. Can I share the code with my teammate? 
Or, can I redeem the codes and then send the V-Bucks to my brother or friend?

You should be able to share the code with them without a problem, it's just that they will get the V-bucks and not you. You can only claim V-bucks from a card once, so keep that in mind before giving out your codes.
