Are Buff's referral programs worth it?

A couple of friends were raving about the Buff referral program and how they're earning extra points from it, so I was curious, are Buff's referral programs actually worth it? Does anyone here have any experience with it and how many points did you earn?

Buff's referral process benefits you more depending on where your referee comes from - you'll get paid around $2.5 for every new sign-up from the US, and between $0.5 and $1.5 for sign-ups for most from Europe, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. Sign-ups from other countries are $0.1, so it really depends on where you're marketing Buff.
