Does Riot Vanguard have to be active during Valorant gameplay?

Yeah, you need it running to play Valorant, and trying to disable it while you're in a match or playing without entirely might get your account flagged, so I wouldn't try it. It never gets in the way though, and in most cases, you won't even notice it running- unless you're using cheat software.
