Does Buff throttle down my CPU usage when playing Valorant?

Hi. I've been paying close attention to my task manager when Buff and Valorant are open at the same time. Sometimes, at the end of a match, Buff will use a little more power. why does it do that? Will it affect me mid-game?

Hey there, good question! Buff tracks your data in real-time using Overwolf in the background, which is all online data that doesn't affect your performance. When you finish a round, however, Buff will use a little of your CPU to display a 'match summary' (along with an ad) to tell you how many Buffs you've earned. Long story short- Buff will never actually affect your gameplay during a match.
